Ro Hession, better known as Mumblin’ Deaf Ro, is one of the finest songwriters worked in Ireland. His second album, the Herring and the Brine was recently listed as one of the best fifty albums of the last ten years by Cluas.

I work up this morning to the great news that the excellently named and generally excellent music blog Those Geese Were Stupefied have a lovely long interview with the man himself. He isn’t quite the JD Salinger of the Irish music scene but its rare and cool nonetheless. Go get something good for your soul.

Your Correspondent, Some days he’s sensitive like a stock market
